Due Date for filing Income Tax Returns extended to October 31, 2017

CBDT, by order dated 31st August, 2017, has extended the due date for filing Income Tax returns and Audit reports from September 30, 2017 to October 31, 2017 for the following assesses covered under clause (a) of Explanation 2 to sub-section (1) of Section 139 of Income Tax Act, 1961.
  1. A company,
  2. A person (other than company) whose accounts are required to be audited under this act or under any other law for the time being in force
  3. A working partner of a firm whose accounts are required to be audited under this act or under any other law for the time being in force.

Conversion of LLP into Company

The concept of Limited Liability Partnership (LLP), was introduced in India by way of Limited Liability Partnership Act, 2008 and LLP Rules, 2009.
